During the summer M&M was trying to connect with a new target market, which are young adults that like music festivals. Therefore, they went all-in with a very cool experiential marketing activation.
The photobooth is short video with a boomrang effect that you can received directly to your phone or my email right after taking the shot.

What is experiential Marketing?
It is a communication strategy where a specific brand can connect directly with is target market or potential clients by interacting with them. Normally these activation tkae place in a public or private event and the brand offers something shareable and as a little of value towards the participants/potential clients.

Doing so the brand can learn more about what the customers like and don't like. In this case M&M was offering free M&M samples and a free Photoshoot with the GIF Booth. Making it easy to share by sending the results through sms or emails.
Then the participants can post it on their social media and help the brand to create more visibilities and awareness to people that are not on site.
How does it work?

You have an M&M ambassador that will trigger the cameras on a sequence or all at the same time or both. They usually give you a count down from 3 to 1 then you can pose with style or do something goofy and creative. The action shot takes roughly 1 second. So if you want to move you have to move fast and broad for better result.

Once the photo is taken and you like the results the M&M ambassadors will the send the 6sec video clip to the sharing tablets where you can enter your email or your phone number so that M&M can send you the link directly to you.
When you received the link, you have the option to share it directly on Facebook or Tweeter. If you want to share is to Instagram you will have to download the files and then post it on the platform.
